I always look at the La Mer cream reviews written by actual customers instead of magazines or celebrities because I know these are the people who actually paid to use the product instead of the other way around. Not that this is usually a issue with La Mer products as I have yet to see anyone who has made use of their creams and balms and did not love it. You will obviously get a few complaints about the price tags but this is to be expected from such a high quality product. I have also noticed a few bad reviews but after a while, you can easily spot the ones that seem like they were written by fans of the competition that just want to spread dissent. If you read enough reviews however a broader picture will start to emerge and you can clearly see whether a product is worth it or not.
